Food Drives for AFAC

Food drives are a great way to help AFAC.   Organizations of any type and size can do them for us.  Over 60% of the food we distribute from AFAC is donated to us.   The food we’ll get from your food drive help keep our costs down and provide us with just the kinds of food we need.

Since our supply of food changes daily, it’s best to contact us when you are considering a food drive.   We’ll let you know the items we need, so that your food drive will be a success for all.   We can always use cereal, canned tuna, peanut butter and pasta.

Don’t forget that we use hundreds of paper and plastic grocery bags each week, so consider doing a bag drive as well.

If you are interested in doing a food drive for us, contact Koube Ngaaje, AFAC Food Drive Coordinator, at 703.845.8486 or afackoube@aol.com to make arrangements.   Below you’ll find links to some documents helpful for planning and publicizing your food drive.
