How well can you eat on $4.03 a day?
Take AFAC's Hunger Challenge this September

$4.03 is the amount of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps) benefits an individual in Arlington receives per day.

Join AFAC staff members and volunteers in the Hunger Challenge - eat on $4.03/day. Try it for a week, a day, or even just a meal.

If you struggle to eat well on $28.21/week, you'll understand how glad AFAC clients are to be able to fill the gap in their food budget with the milk, eggs, produce, meat and other items distributed at AFAC.

Check out AFAC's blog and blog about your experience!
